Family Holiday Picture

Pregnant Laura

Well, I finally decided to put a pregnant picture on here. This was taken Nov. 28 at 24 weeks. I have moved into the maternity section of my wardrobe, as even my t-shirts are becoming tight. I just had my 24 week check-up, and everything is still fine. Zach has a heartbeat of 150.

Name Chosen!

We have finally chosen a name that we not only agree on, but that we both like.

It's a Boy!

We had the all telling ultrasound this afternoon, and found out that we will be the proud parents of a baby boy. The pictures we got were not very good, so we only included one. You can barely make out the face and the pose that the baby seemed to prefer today, his hands up around his face. We were told that he is about 1lb 5oz based on the measurements, which puts him in the 50th percentile. His heartbeat was 141. According to the ultrasound technician, everything looks great and we seem to have a healthy baby growing! Only 4 more months! :)

Nursery Completed!

Well, it has taken quite a bit of time, but the nursery is done! Laura LOVES it, and Matt is just happy that it is done! Of course by saying that it is done, what we really mean is that the walls are painted and the border is finally put on. We are going to wait to furnish it until a bit down the line.

First Ultrasound at 13 Weeks

We are very excited about the results of our first ultrasound. We found out that Laura is actually 2 weeks further along than originally thought, which makes her very happy! Our new due date is March 19th, 2007. The heartbeat looked healthy and strong. It was also confirmed that she will not follow in her sister's footsteps of having twins! :)
