One Year!

Wow, I can't believe that Zach is already one year old! He is doing just great! At his one year check up he was 20 lbs 9 oz (10%-25%), 30 inches long (50%-75%), and his head is 18.8 inches around (75%-90%). He was supposed to get his MMR and Chickenpox shots, but that has been delayed due to a possible egg allergy. We have been referred out to an allergist for further testing before he has to get those shots.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get a post out since his birthday, things have been a little crazy around here! Since I have not posted in a while, I will update since a lot has happened!

Mid February Zach and I flew down to Phoenix while Matt, Nana and Nanu drove all 3 of our cars down. Thanks again guys for all your help and especially for driving while you were so sick! You are so wonderful!!! We got the keys to the house we are renting down here on the 15th, and our stuff got here on the 19th. We were very nervous about having the military move us after all the horror stories we had heard, but everything worked out wonderfully! We had a little less than a month to get settled in here before Matt left for San Diego on the 16th of March.

After Matt arrived in San Diego he found out he was going to be there for 6 days, so Zach and I, my mom, dad, sister and nieces all packed up and headed out to San Diego for a vacation while hoping to get to see Matt some. That was a great decision as we got to see him every evening for at least a couple of hours. Thanks so much again Sue and Lyle for opening your house up to our crazy family! We were able to go to the beach and to Sea World while we were there.

My sister and dad came home a day earlier than us because the trip was really hard on the twins (and also on my sister who is 6 months pregnant!). On our way home, my mom and Zach and I stopped by to see Grandpa and Twila and see where they spend their winters. It was really great to finally be able to see the place since they have been going there for so long!

Zach is going to a place called My Gym twice a week and just loves it! He started walking shortly after we got down here, as he was able to watch and copy his cousins. He is a very busy little boy, and keeps me very busy as well!
